I am a retired firefighter with just over 14 year’s experience. I retired in 2006 to stay at home to care for my mother. I am disabled from a stroke I had when I was only 2 years old witch left me without the use of my left arm and hand. I think I adjusted well from the stroke with being able to be a fire fighter. Most people would not even think of trying that.
